Abstract
The most common type of palliative care for dysphagia is the imposition of artifi cial nutritional fi stulas. In this case, the operation of choice is considered to be gastrostomy, to which a large number of publications are devoted. Jejunostomy is performed much less frequently and is less covered in the literature. The article presents a review of the literature refl ecting the evolution of jejunostomy as a palliative operation to provide enteral nutrition for dysphagia.
