Abstract
The third part of the lecture is devoted to the surgical treatment of Hirschsprung's disease in children. The evolution of surgical methods of treating this disease is presented in the historical aspect. The role of the most famous pediatric surgeons who have proposed methods of treating Hirschsprung's disease, which are still used in everyday practice, is highlighted. The operations of Swanson, Duhamel, Soave and their modifications proposed by Russian authors and used in long-term forms of the disease are considered. The issues of surgical treatment of the super-short form of Hirschsprung's disease in children are highlighted separately. Special emphasis is placed on modern endoscopic minimally invasive treatment options for this pathology. The variants of complications that are most typical for each type of surgery are considered. The issues of their prevention and treatment are also highlighted. The final part of the lecture highlights the issues of rehabilitation and the quality of life of patients with Hirschsprung's disease.
